Isto vem de algo mais básico, vem do fundamento de que tudo à tua volta está vivo, a natureza sorri para ti, mesmo a areia, o ar tal como a agua estão vivos, eles são feitos exactamente do mesmo do que tu, mas as pessoas não acreditam que tudo o que acontece na natureza aconteça sem uma explicação cientifica. É aquela historia dos cristais de gelo. Na neve nenhum cristal é igual, embora te digam que isso seja resultado da circunstancia diferente em que é formado, cada "partícula" do universo (o universo não é feito de partículas) tem algo de si própria e ao mesmo tempo tem "consciência" de todo o universo. A forma como ensinam as pessoas a ver o mundo é mentira. Qualquer pessoa que passe muito tempo na natureza depois de uns anos se apercebe que não está sozinha, apercebe-se que tudo à sua volta está vivo. Sem exagero, existe algo em tudo o que existe, que faz com que nós cheguemos a este conhecimento, é uma questão de ter os olhos abertos, as arvores, assim como os animais são pessoas como nós, embora nos tenhamos separado delas há muito, muito tempo, os nossos pais são os mesmos. Se continuares com os olhos abertos apercebes-te as arvores tem muito mais sabedoria que os seres humanos, as relações entre elas são inimagináveis e quando o homem desaparecer muitas arvores vão sobreviver, existem plantas que têm sementes que duram mais de 1000 anos e nascem depois! "exagerando" mais um bocado a natureza de um grão de areia é comum à natureza humana. Toda a natureza está em comunicação continua em seu redor, tenho a certeza que a velocidade máxima não é a da luz, e cada partícula só existe em função do universo. O universo é infinito tanto para grande como para pequeno, ou seja cada "partícula" de uma pequena partícula pode ser um universo e conter biliões de galáxias, por sua vez a cada partícula desse universo mais pequeno pode acontecer o mesmo. Ok aqui vai a 3ª parte do artigo, não se assustem, nós temos mesmo que fazer melhor que isto! desde já no começo do artigo que era mesmo muito longo, (não o inclui aqui todo) estavam a falar também de um caso em que dois jovens entraram numa escola e mataram 13 colegas... já vão perceber! The cruel social structure of mass schooling is no accident: It is by design. The purpose of mass schooling is to teach people their place, and it does this quite well. As for actual learning, it is severely lacking. Little surprise that increasing numbers are opting out of the system via homeschooling, a trend which is increasing by 15 percent a year. Even less surprising is that children who are homeschooled—with teachers (i.e. parents) who have a vested interest in their students succeeding and without a grading system—tend to do even better on standardized achievement tests, ironically created to measure mass education output. Median scores for homeschoolers at all grade levels are between the 70th to 80th percentile in most studies. Perhaps even more surprising to some is that homeschooling doesn’t harm the socialization skills of children, a charge often used to justify the unjustifiable system in place. Julie Webb, a researcher who examined the lives of homeschooled students, found that their socialization skills were often better than those of their peers. Her findings were published in 1989 in Educational Review, which is hardly a propaganda unit for the homeschooling movement. While such evidence defies conventional wisdom, it does make sense after all: Opting out of a psychopathic school culture does wonders in reducing tensions with peers and adults. Naturally, politicians of all stripes are loath to discuss the malignant nature of mass schooling, and the masses, like sheep, rarely speak out against it themselves. True, conservatives may complain that God has been taken out of the classroom and offer self-serving solutions like school vouchers. Yes, liberals may criticize the supposed underfunding for schools and the unfair underrepresentation of oppressed groups in history books. Yet, despite such ideological rhetoric, both sides of the debate still buy into the basic fraud that our school system is a boon to mankind. In the end, any discussion of “reforming” it is about as productive as talk of reforming a death camp. When the inherent goal of an institution is fundamentally evil, there is no way to “reform” it for improvement. Which leads to a final point: the actual original purpose for mass schooling. As can be clearly observed, mass education wasn’t introduced to educate children’s minds. Still, was it all just to create an industrial economy and corporate state? The answer, unsurprisingly, is no. As Gatto noted in an interview in Flatland magazine, the beginnings of the modern educational system were in 1806, when the French forces of Napoleon kicked the ass of the Prussian State. Considering that the French were a quichemunching, wine-sipping group of toads led by a midget with a shrunken penis, this was a major blow to the psyche of the Prussian intellectuals. There was a big debate over the mystery of how Prussia could have lost so badly. Soon after, a German philosopher named Johann Gottlieb Fichte delivered his famous “Address to the German Nation,” where he laid out his explanation for the debacle, an explanation that soon became national gospel. Simply put, the problem was that the Prussian people were too independent-thinking and weren’t committed to important values like being eager to sacrifice oneself for the society. The answer, therefore, was to come up with a system where people’s innate desire for dangerous concepts like freedom and liberty could be effectively squashed. The solution came in 1819, when Prussia founded a compulsory “educational” system. By crushing the insidious independent spirit early on in the little tikes, the Prussian State could easily use the more docile public as the necessary fodder for an effective death machine. All this was perfectly symbolized in the term kindergarten, German for children’s garden. No, it didn’t mean that the children were at play in a garden, but rather, that they were like vegetables to be prepared by teachers, with the ultimate goal that they be sliced up by the State in the name of some greater good salad. It certainly worked: Trained from an early age to deny infantile instincts, the children grew to be good soldiers, and Prussia quickly became one nasty motherfucker. A little over 100 years later, the same ideology of National Socialism that was behind the making of modern education went to the most efficient and successful death machine in history, thanks to the inheritors of the Prussian Empire in Nazi Germany. Hitler’s birthday, incidentally, is April 20, the same day as the Columbine tragedy. The implications of all this are rather startling: The true purpose behind the Western schooling system was to transform the young into killers. That being the case, don’t we really have it all backward? Rather than screaming, “Why?” shouldn’t we instead be asking, like Timothy Leary did moments before he died, “Why not?” If the purpose of our schooling system is to make an efficient murder machine, shouldn’t we be hoping that more Columbines continue to happen? Shouldn’t the educational establishment, rather than paying lip service to spineless politicians squeamish as to what war is really about, trumpet the Columbine massacre as one of its great success stories? Isn’t the real tragedy here not that Klebold and Harris killed thirteen other people, but rather that these well-trained gunmen killed themselves as well, before they could replicate their actions on some Third World country whose leader begins defying IMF-World Bank edicts? Indeed, since the whole purpose of the schooling system is to turn children into what they had become, don’t both Klebold and Harris deserve posthumous degrees (with honors, no less) for their fine work? Perhaps to some, such statements are politically incorrect, but this writer, for one, is going to do the patriotic thing and salute these two fine boys. Não, não podemos, e temos que acordar todos, a natureza crias as pessoas(ou seres) que a destroem e também nos cria a nós... Temos que fazer por não nos transformarem em seres deshumanos, sem empatia, sem compreensão. Como diz a tua assinatura... O verdadeiro problema é a intrusão dos meios da propaganda social. As pessoas comunicam entre si, mas de maneira cada vez mais limitada, pois, muitas limitam-se às possibilidades criadas dentro da televisão. A televisão cria a ideia que quem não pensa como as noticias que ela dá, está isolada. Se tu achas que a televisão te está a mentir, sentes que tu, ou tu mais uns colegas e mais outras poucas pessoas no mundo estão sozinhas. Para mim parece-me que só para 1 em 20 pessoas existe a possibilidade que os meios de propaganda social lhe estejam a mentir. E eu estou a falar só da possibilidade. Porque para as outras a mensagem sublime da televisão é vista como sincera, inteligente e hiper independente. Vivemos na sociedade que protege as crianças a todo o custo , numa sociedade cientifica, extremamente evoluída, numa sociedade imaginada à 30 anos e realizada , numa sociedade onde todos podem escolher ser cultos, numa sociedade onde há a liberdade de escolher o restaurante onde se almoça. Não sera esta sociedade um ilusão? Numa sociedade tão evoluída cientificamente que cria mais depressa cancro em todas as pessoas do que arranja uma "cura", uma sociedade que culpa os políticos de todo o mal, como se os políticos contassem pelos que mandam neles e pelos milhões de pessoas que vão trabalhar e realmente resolver os problemas. Não quero sociedades secretas no governo, não quero ouvir opiniões mediocres todos os dias, não quero ouvir pessoas a mentir todos os dias, não quero ver todos os dias as noticias reais a serem substituídas por futebol, telenovelas e concurso de conhecimento totalmente ridículos. O governo devia começar nas Juntas de freguesia com todos os cidadãos, a ideia da esquerda e direita devia desaparecer - o que se tem que fazer é ter ideia coerentes. A esquerda e direita não existem, são uma mentira. O que é natural é as pessoas viverem em paz, não precisamos de nenhum governo principal, muito menos de um governo mundial. Precisamos de pessoas com boas ideias, e precisamos de interagir com essas pessoas, para melhorar as ideias, ou suportar as ideias melhor. Podemos fazer um mundo melhor em vez do genocídio aberrante que vem ai com toda a gente a dormir. Lí isto e achei interessante. Global Warming; Science Trumped by Politics and Activism The term “Junk Science” has become popular since the turn of the millennium. Much of what is published by the media and even many mainstream scientists can be thought of as junk science. But, what is junk science? As a scientist and engineer, my definition of junk science is this: the publishing or expounding of “science” theories or “science facts” that directly or indirectly contradict established other scientific facts or principles. Global warming, geologic dating techniques, and uniformitarianism all can be considered junk science as much of the physical evidence argues against them. It’s always entertaining to watch scientists go off on tangents. One of the great problems of modern science is that researchers of different disciplines rarely talk with one another. When a paper is published in a field that a scientist is not an expert in, cannot know when the results are biased or false and generally assume that the paper’s author was correct in his/her assumptions and methods. Science is too wide a body of knowledge for one to be expert in more than a few fields. The days when a university professor like Newton could be expert in all of the science of his day are long past. Global warming is an excellent example of this. Scientists and activists alike have jumped on the bandwagon. It’s become a fad, a trend, a wave of enthusiasm and the scientists are going along with the fad to get research grants and the media limelight. The various activist groups are going along with it because it supports their socialist agenda of wiping out industry and personal freedoms. Global warming has even hit the big screen with “An Inconvenient Truth,” a documentary on Al Gore's campaign to make the issue of global warming a recognized problem worldwide. So, what is global warming? It is the belief that man has caused the average atmospheric temperatures to increase by his adding of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere by the burning of carbon-based fuels like petroleum, coal and wood. Sounds awful, right? The facts, such as we can observe and calculate them, do not support the idea of man-made global warming. Natural processes completely eclipse anything that man can accomplish- a minor rainstorm expends energy than a large nuclear explosive releases and the lowest category of hurricane expends more energy than all of the nuclear weapons ever produced in a short time. The 1991 eruption of Mount Pinatubo alone put more pollution into the atmosphere than the entire history of man. Consider that a moment. Most geologists and indeed, most scientists in the U.S. do not accept the idea that global warming resulting from human activities is a viable theory - because most have an appreciation for the kind of power inherent in natural systems. Conversely, most biologists do accept the idea of man-caused global warming and quote scientists in other fields, without understanding those other fields sufficiently to make a logical judgement as to whether the studies were reasonable in their methods and claims. They simply take it on faith that the scientists propounding global warming are correct in their methods and assumptions. Geologists point to a period of much warmer weather prior to the Little Ice Age of 1350- 1850 A.D., in which it was possible to farm in most of Scandinavia, Canada and even in Greenland (the name was not a joke). It is too cold to farm in Greenland, northern Canada and all but the southern tip of Scandinavia. Historians speak of times in the distant past when the earth was much warmer than now, such as prior to the fifth century A.D. or the 11th century B.C., when northern Europe was similar to the Mediterranean in overall climate. Imagine shirtsleeve weather in the Baltic in winter. The activists and the scientists proponing global warming point to increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere over time. Unfortunately, there are no records of long term monitoring available except at one station in the Hawaiian Islands. While those trying to prove global warming point to the station as proof of increasing carbon dioxide, a crucial error was made in location. In the 1950s, the Scripps Institute thought it would be a good idea to have a carbon dioxide monitor in a place far from other land and possible interference from industry, such as the “Big Island” of Hawaii. A reasonable idea, but their choice of location was very poor. What the Scripps Institute didn’t take into account was that volcanoes produce enormous amounts of steam, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and other gases. Compounding that, the Big Island’s volcanic eruptions have increased in recent years to the point where they are causing air pollution on Oahu, some 200 miles away. The placement of the station next to major carbon dioxide sources like this and then claiming that the entire world’s carbon dioxide levels are increasing is similar in principle to putting a sensor next to a steel mill’s smokestacks and then saying that the air in the entire U.S. is filled with soot. It’s dishonest and misleading. I digress, but Oregon’s DEQ did the same thing in the 1980s to prove that the Rogue Valley (southern Oregon) had high levels of carbon monoxide. They placed a carbon monoxide sensor half a city block from an old factory whose inefficient boilers were producing large amounts of carbon monoxide. When the factory closed, the levels of carbon monoxide dropped by half and the DEQ claimed that the levels had dropped for the entire Rogue Valley when most of what the sensor had been measuring was the gas from the factory’s boilers. A true measure would have been to have sensors all over the Rogue Valley. Carbon dioxide is the same. To get a true measure of world levels of carbon dioxide, one needs sensors in many places and over a long period of time. We simply don’t have the data to indicate that carbon dioxide has decreased or increased over time. When Science Contradicts Science When established facts and scientific principles argue against a theory, then that theory must be untrue or partially untrue. A rock can’t fall down and fly up at the same time. Part of the scientific method is to test hypotheses again and again and then revise an overall theory on the basis of what the tests indicate. Not so with global warming. For example, the claim has been made that ice cores from Greenland and other areas of “permanent” ice caps indicate increasing carbon dioxide. One must consider the nature of glaciers and carbon dioxide before making such a claim. Glaciers flow because the ice softens and flows at about 150 feet from the surface. Carbon dioxide is inert and since carbon dioxide it’s less dense than ice, the carbon dioxide in the ice near the bottom of the ice is going to be squeezed upward in the ice, i.e., the upper ice layers will have more carbon dioxide than lower ice because it moves upward over time. One can see the same effect in the basalt flows of Oregon, such as that of the Cascades or the Table Rocks. When the lava flows across the surface, gas bubbles move upward as the basalt flows and cools. In light of the movement of carbon dioxide in glacier ice, it is not reasonable to claim that carbon dioxide levels are higher in the newer material near the top of the ice as the result of increasing carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere. In addition, since the Greenland ice caps that they are drilling cores from didn’t exist before the Little Ice Age, how can they believe that they are taking the measure of thousands of years? The oldest ice can be no more than ~600 years old! Unfortunately, most activists and many scientists will simply discount information like that as it directly contradicts their idea. In effect, they are saying, “It must be true, so these contradicting facts must themselves be in error.” Thus, we have global warming, geologic dating, evolution, string theory and several other scientific dogmas that must somehow be true, but do not fit the evidence or physical laws as observed. I don’t have that kind of faith. I can’t believe in “science” that is contradicted by other science. Something either fits the evidence consistently or it doesn’t. Simply wanting something to be true doesn’t make it true, today’s postmodernculture notwithstanding. If I hit my hand with a hammer while driving a nail, it’s going to hurt and it is a fact that my hand was hit. Convincing myself that I didn’t hit my hand might make be feel better, but it doesn’t change the objective reality that my hand was struck and a bruise is now forming. So, what does temperature data indicate? Temperature data that indicates cooling, such as the winters of 2003-2004 and 2004-2005, in which the U.S. east of the Rockies had unseasonably cold weather for several months, are completely ignored in order to make the case that the earth is warming. One hears the media scream about the warmest years in history, but is this accurate? Temperatures in rural areas of the U.S. have dropped slightly in the last few decades. More than a hundred years of temperature records in the U.S. confirm this. Urban temperatures have increased, but this is a phenomenon local only to urban areas- brought about by asphalt and concrete absorbing more heat than the prior ground cover. For example Bend, Oregon is now warmer on average than Redmond, Oregon and ten years ago this was not the case. The population doubled in Bend during this period and with that population increase came a dramatic increase in the amount of asphalt and concrete replacing the native ground cover. The larger area surrounding Bend, however, is still colder than Redmond. In the same way, urban temperatures are not an indicator for the world’s temperatures in general. A 2002 NOAA study claimed the “certainty” of global warming by comparing seawater temperatures from 50 years ago with the present, yielding an “increase” of 0.5 degrees. This is not a sound analysis of the information that they had to work with. The movements of ocean water are very complex. Current locations and temperatures vary from year to year. Temperature measurements are far more consistent in method, more accurate and much more widespread than 50 years ago. The current system of fixed and moving buoys in multiple locations around the globe providing constant temperature data didn’t exist 50 years ago and instruments are now much more precise. One half of a degree falls within the error of the instruments available 50 years ago and thus cannot be used to prove a warming trend. Astrophysicists state that Mars and the other planets have warmed up considerably in the last decade. All of the planets share the same heat source- and the sun is not constant in its output, varying from year to year. For example, carbon 14 studies of bristlecone pine tree rings in California and Nevada indicate that there is considerable variability in solar irradiation. Venus used to be used as an example of the “greenhouse effect”, until other scientists pointed out that Venus receives twice as much energy from the sun as the Earth does, has little water, no life, no plate tectonics and it’s atmosphere is very different. Every climate model from the 1980s on that indicated warming was proven wrong in its predictions. Most models indicated 3 to 6 degree temperature rise in the upper latitudes. This has not happened. The problem with computer modeling is that only a tiny percentage of the literally millions of variables involved can be written into a program. It’s currently impossible for us to accurately model Earth’s climate and we are not aware of all of the variables yet. For example, only recently has it been discovered that the solar wind, sunspots and coronal mass ejections from the sun affect weather patterns. If global warming were to occur, there would beseveral indicators. The first would be the increase in seawater temperature. This has not happened that we know of. The second would be a dramatic increase in precipitation in essentially all parts of the world, not just a few. With warmer sea temps, there would be greater evaporation and thus more rain and snow, everywhere. Deserts would become steppes. Steppes would become forest. Boreal forests would become rainforest. This hasn’t happened in the centuries since the industrial revolution began. These examples illustrate the basic problem of modern science: there is no field of science in which this same type of error does not take place. This is compounded by activists who want their ideas to be true, regardless of the actual facts, by scientists craving media attention and a media that thrives on sensationalism. Emotional dependency. Teachers and higher authorities decide everything for students, from what they are allowed to say to who may use the bathroom. 5. Intellectual dependency. Teachers decide what will be taught and when and how it will be taught. “It is the most important lesson, that we must wait for other people, better trained than ourselves, to make the meanings of our lives.” 6. Provisional self-esteem. Students are constantly judged and evaluated. Their feelings of self-worth depend on how an outsider rates them. 7. One can’t hide. Students have no private time or private space. They are encouraged to snitch on each other. “I teach students that they are always watched, that each is under constant surveillance by myself and my colleagues.” According to Gatto, it only takes around 100 hours to teach the fundamentals of real education to people eager to learn (which children naturally are until the joy of learning is beaten out of them). To learn the seven lessons of the covert curriculum takes a little bit longer, which is why the state imposes a twelve-year educational system. One of the greatest tools for the industrial-educational system is the handing out of grades. If, as so many foolishly insist, the purpose of the educational system is to educate, why are students graded rather than the teachers, the people who are getting paid to do the teaching? If a student fails to learn a subject, why is it he or she alone who receives the scarlet F? When teachers clearly fail at the job of teaching, why should they be able to pull a Pontius Pilate and wipe their hands clean of all blame? The essence of teachers’ response to failed students is them declaring, “Hey, don’t look at me, I had nothing to do with this fuck-up.” The truth is, contrary to popular belief, grades are not handed out to promote real learning. If anything, the grading system kills and maims the inquisitive spirit: Why try to learn something new if the result may be the punishment of being branded a failure? The purpose of grades is to teach kids that they are at the mercy of authorities, who have near absolute power to judge them on their own worthiness. Self-worth must be earned by pleasing the goals and edicts of superiors, and if a student succeeds, he or she will move up the totem with better opportunities provided by the schooling system. As Albert Einstein once put it: It is in fact nothing short of a miracle that the modern methods of instruction have not yet entirely strangled the holy curiosity of inquiry; for this delicate little plant, aside from stimulation, stands mainly in need of freedom; without this it goes to wrack and ruin without fail. It is a very grave mistake to think that the enjoyment of seeing and searching can be promoted by means of coercion and a sense of duty. Each student, then, is a direct competitor of his fellow student, in a dog-eat-dog system, with the spoils going to the victorious canine. Or, as Neff put it, “Adapt or die.” If some people can’t compete in such a system, they will resort to other techniques (bullying and social ostracizing) to punish and hinder those who compete with them. Some will participate in such rituals to provide outlets for frustrations and inferiority complexes, which predictably develop in such a twisted training ground. Alvin Toffler is perhaps the most important social critic of the last 50 years. In his 1980 masterpiece, The Third Wave, he pointed out that the purpose of the schooling system was to train children to become industrial workers. As Andrew Ure would write in 1835, it was “nearly impossible to convert persons past the age of puberty, whether drawn from rural or from handicraft occupations, into useful factory hands.” Thanks to the schooling system, youth are trained very early in how they are expected to be useful. While mass education claims to be mainly about reading, writing, and arithmetic, the “covert curriculum,” as Toffler puts it, consists “of three courses: one in punctuality, one in obedience, and one in rote, repetitive work. Factory labor demanded workers who showed up on time, especially assembly-line hands. It demanded workers who would take orders from a management hierarchy without questioning. And it demanded men and women prepared to slave away at machines or in offices, performing brutally repetitious operations.” Toffler would grimly conclude that the schooling system “machined generation after generation of young people into a pliable, regimented work force of the type required by electromechanical technology and the assembly line.” John Taylor Gatto was a New York school teacher for 26 years, and in 1991 he was named New York State Teacher of the Year. In his acceptance speech, he bit the hand that fed him, and attacked the very institution he served, going even further than Mr. Toffler did with his harsh words. He told his stunned audience that teachers aren’t employed to develop minds, but to destroy them. Soon afterwards, Gatto would unsurprisingly leave the “educational” system. As he would later put it in a Wall Street Journal Op-Ed to explain his decision of retirement: “I teach how to fit into a world I don’t want to live in.” Qual é o papel da educação, porque razão temos todos que ter a mesma? , bem está no limite do threshold, e como a única coisa invisível que me está a vir a cabeça é o vento (e o facto de estar farto do salazar) vou falar do vento. O vento passa por nós e filtra toda a nossa vida, é assim que a nossa vida passa para as arvores e para todos os outros seres a nossa volta esperem, é assim que a vida passa das arvores para dentro de nós, e nos transformamos em algo mais do que um ser de uma só especie.... A sensação do vento bater na nossa cara, passar pelos poros para o podermos respirar é fixe (principalmente se formos num salto de 30 metros com o carmichael a tentar apanhar-nos) Se o vento for frio demais não é assim tão agradavel, se for quente demais tb não - logo dai chegamos a conclusão base da natureza, do universo e de tudo: A beleza, o prazer puro e tudo o que é fixe - está no equilíbrio. O contraste também é fixe, (se não dá origem a monotonia), mas é no "controlo" do contraste de forma harmoniosa, que se cria beleza, e da beleza sai tudo o que é bonito (a beleza não é ilusão). o equilibrio + upps(algo que eu desconheço) = magia O objectivo na vida é criar magia (não ilusão) O primeiro passo, não é voluntário, acontece.
