    A Festa para começar o Agosto em Grande!

    Jamie's distinctive "trademark sound", his own take on techno and house, is one that most people find hard to pigeonhole. And he wouldn't want it any other way.

     

    With 15 years in the business, Jamie still maintains an uncompromising approach to production and his music career in general, a career in which he has achieved an amazing level of critical and commercial success. As one of Australia's most talented and sought after music producers, he has proven his skill in professional sound design, music scores for film and contemporary dance music.

     

    As the founding member of 'Infusion', Jamie has received two ARIA awards (the highest accolade given in the Australian music industry) and renowned website 'Resident Advisor' ranked their 2005 studio effort "Six Feet Above Yesterday" as the 32nd best electronic album of the decade. With this much-loved live outfit, he's left his mark around the globe, headlining some of the biggest and most respected clubs including; Fabric- London, Pacha - Buenos Aires, Womb- Tokyo and festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Roskilde and Creamfields in Moscow, Brazil, UK and Argentina.

     

    Now, his own remixes for Booka Shade (Get Physical), John Digweed (Bedrock), D.Ramirez (Slave), Deepchild (Beef) and Chris Fortier (Fade) amongst a host of others have earned praise from the biggest names in the industry including contemporary stalwarts Sasha, Laurent Garnier, Adam Beyer, Danny Howells and Thomas Schumacher. These finely tuned club remixes appear regularly on seminal radio shows BBC1's 'Essential Mix' and John Digweed's 'Transitions'.

     

    Always wanting to create those special moments in the peaks and the plateaus, Jamie's DJ performances are laced with his own specially produced re-edits, tools and loops. These sets are best described as an hyper-energetic expression of his personality, always charged with all-important tension and atmosphere.

    As Steve’s popularity grew, he was given an opportunity to host the prime slot on leading Australian electronic music radio program, Kiss FM, known as ‘Chameleon Radio’. Since it’s inception in 2008, Chameleon Radio is regarded as the highest rated program on Kiss FM.

     

    His first and highly anticipated release with Chameleon, The Window Between Us and Them, gained instant success, being recognised by the likes of John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Christian Smith, Dubfire, Technasia, Groove Amada, Raveline (Germany’s most influential industry magazine who gave it a 5/5 star review) and its biggest accolade being featured as the closing track on Dave Seaman’s Global Underground Lithuania.

     

    With his record label leaving industry boundaries in its wake, his label nights hitting capacity crowd time and time again, his music being played and charted by some of the biggest names in the global scene, it’s no doubt his name will be the hottest topic in 2011.
