DIRECTIONS BY BUS Buses from Watford Junction station to the Hempstead road, Grove Hotel gates. Alight at the stop just before the Grove gates, Hempstead road bus-stop, north Watford (Ask your driver when to get off because the Hempstead stop will not be operational. You need to get off on the stop before and walk up). Bus number 500 from stop V heading towards Hemel Hempstead bus station. Bus number 550 from stop 4 heading towards Hemel Hempstead bus station. DIRECTIONS BY CAR Clockwise on the M25 Leave at Junction 19, following the signs to Watford. At the first large roundabout take the third exit (A411 towards Watford). After half a mile, you’ll see the entrance to The Grove on your right hand side. Anti-clockwise on the M25 Leave at Junction 20, following the signs to Watford. At the first large roundabout take the second exit (A411 towards Watford). After half a mile, you’ll see the entrance to The Grove on your right hand side. North on the M1 Leave at Junction 5 and take the third exit (A41 to Aylesbury). After approximately a mile, you will come to a roundabout. Take the second exit (again the A41 to Aylesbury). After nearly two miles, you will come to a roundabout, take the first exit. After half a mile, you’ll see the entrance to The Grove on your right hand side. South on the M1 Leave at Junction 6. At the t-junction at the end of the slip road, follow the road round to the left, following signs for North Watford A405. After approximately 1 1/2 miles, at a large roundabout, take the second exit (A41 to Aylesbury). At the next roundabout take the first exit. After half a mile, you’ll see the entrance to The Grove on your right hand side. Parking There will be parking for press and activists on the Old Hempstead Road, which runs alongside the A411. The details of the parking arrangements are still being finalized. DIRECTIONS BY TRAIN It’s just 20 minutes from London Euston to Watford Junction, which also has key mainline train services to Birmingham New Street and Manchester Piccadilly. The station is served by the London Underground on the Metropolitan line. Chiltern Railways run a service from London Marylebone to Rickmansworth station. A taxi will take about 15 minutes. To reach the Grove hotel ‘reception zone’ from Watford stations: It’s a 10 minute journey by taxi from the station to The Grove. DIRECTIONS BY BOAT The Grand Union Canal runs close by The Grove.
