Discordo, acho que se mantêm bastante na onda que é deles. Uma coisa é certa, nunca vi o line up do boom com tanta coisa boa. Sunrise Festival was for me, even after listening to other OOOD gigs, a handfull of surprises and a brilliant performance and dance floor.. which makes me even more anxious for Sunday @ Boom!! see you all there! :)

A leitura é sempre subjectiva.. é o único problema, a meu ver, dos chats.. Achas a fotografia uma coisa inútil? PS: Isto não é um chat. We can't believe our luck... thanks to Ana @ Passion Fruit and the Boom team for making it possible. This will be the first time we've put our music to visuals, and Anita's short film has been great to work with. We've got a lot of work to do yet but it's looking good so far! With any luck we'll have a VJ for the second half of our set, and we've also been making a special remix of one of our tracks just for the soundtrack, so I hope you will come to the Dance Temple and help us kick Sunday evening off in style. OOOD LATEST NEWS: The latest news is that the band have been playing regularly in the UK and have been working hard on new material, inspired by Ryokan's return from 2 years in Japan and Steve's recent 6 months in India. All four of them now live in the same city and they seem determined to push their boundaries ever further with their next album; their recent dancefloor tracks span the bpm range from 110 to 150 and include some of their best psytrance work to date and the stunning electro/psy/techno track 'Frogology', title track of on the VA of the same name from Frogadelic Records (the label of the Tribe of Frog organisation in the UK). Also coming out soon is the track 'Little Big Life', to be released on the debut VA from Broken Records, and a digital EP on Broken Robot Records. Colin has been mastering albums for labels such as Zenon and Devils Mind, as well as Tim Healey's latest album "Unstoppable" (Farm Records, 2009) and individual tracks by artists such as Hujaboy, Aerospace, NASA and Filteria, amongst many others. At present he is in-house mastering engineer for four labels (Phar Psyde, Devils Mind, Cronomi, Sun Station) and several independantly-releasing artists; his mastering is also rapidly developing a reputation outside the trance scene. Ryo, Steve and Rama have been ripping up dancefloors all over with DJ sets in a wide range of styles and were openers at many UK festivals last summer, as well as playing peak-time sets at Tribe of Frog, Broken and other UK parties. Recent and upcoming gigs After a small warm-up gig in Glastonbury, OOOD played to a packed and enthusiastic crowd on the main-stage at sunset on the last day of Universo Paralello 10 in Brazil, as well as a live set in the chillout on New Years Eve, for which they were joined on stage by Bill Halsey (aka Cosmosis). A tour of Japan is being finalised for this year, and the band will be performing twice at Boom Festival 2010, including a unique synchronised performance of a specially-commissioned film soundtrack. OOOD are also this year's headline international booking for Gemini Festival in California, one of the USA's longest-running and best-loved psytrance events, and will be playing a variety of live and DJ sets across the festival. In the UK, Sunrise, Nozstock and Waveform festivals are amongst those who have invited OOOD to perform this year, with more to be confirmed - watch this space! ABOUT OOOD: OOOD - How deep can you bleep? OOOD will be a familiar name to both those with long memories, and to relative newcomers to trance. Formed in the UK in 1994 and with 4 members since 2001 (Colin, Steve, Rama, Ryokan), they've been around for as long as there's been psytrance and have worked with many of the names and labels from the scene's long history, as well as producing some of Goa Trance's classic tracks on labels like Flying Rhino, Phantasm and Matsuri. 2010 - a chance to return items stollen from Colin.. OOOD are coming to play at Boom. I'm sure they will be safe at Boom. The only reason Colin is coming back to Portugal is because Boom made OOOD a very special invitation to perform live with his 4 member band. And because his rage against the portuguese 'incident' has been calmed down with a very special friendship with some nice portuguese people.. After going around the world trance scenes, it's very sad to see that the vibe at parties here is mostly... SCARY (if it's not busted by the cops, btw) - there are some exceptions of good professional people working - I hope? Do not miss OOOD's performance at Boom... the person who did that will pay somehow sometime for its acts. One gets what he deserves, sooner or later.. bring on the good vibes for Boom dancefloor!!!

Foi em 2009? No flyer diz 2000? Enfim... Voice of Cod é o projecto solo do Colin. Os OOOD são 4 elementos que tocam ao vivo.. Ele deve ter feito um dj set chill out de alguns temas deles.. No Boom vai ser a primeira vez dos OOOD live a tocar... Já os vi em UK várias vezes este ano - e o som deles está.... de morrer.. (no bom sentido, claro!). Estou com ânsias pelo Boom e pela performance deles.

Para quem não tem interesse nisto, fartaste-te de falar. Só foi pena não teres compreendido bem e realmente teres perdido o teu tempo e o meu.. pois fica sabendo que eu nem vou ganhar nada com isto (música e eventos... é por paixão!!). Estou a ajudar uma pessoa que está a organizar porque simplesmente nasci para fazer ligações e é o que eu gosto de fazer. E fazer as coisas andar. E o meu português é suficientemente bom para me fazer entender. Mas foi giro, nunca tinha criado tanta polémica LOLOLOLOLOLOL Fica bem também.

Meu querido Sage, tu é que não percebeste a oferta. Conheço muito bem o chapitô e quando eu organizar ou conhecer alguém que organiza um evento em que haja dinheiro para pagar, seria o primeiro local a contactar.. Ninguém começa uma actividade e vira profissional de um dia para o outro. Esta oferta é uma oportunidade ótima para certas pessoas. Para outros claro que não. Por não teres percebido isso foste perguntar à pessoa errada. Não se pergunta a um profissional desses se quer particpar num evento de graça! A não ser que seja alguém ande à procura de uma oportunidade para se mostrar - alguém que esteja no início!! é assim tão difícil perceber o que está em jogo e a quem de destina? dahhhh. Se eu para trabalhar só pudesse contar com este fórum, estava tramada.. e não seria uma pessoa com contactos ou capacidade para organizar ou ajudar qq tipo de organização. LOL. Nem trabalhava nisto há 6 anos entre PT e UK. Também me pergunto às vezes se valeu a pena voltar de UK.. este mercado é difícil por ser pequeno e pela mentalidade pequena, mesquinha e egocêntrica de muitas pessoas.. mas enfim. E o pior é a falta de profissionalismo de muitos artistas, organizadores e o público também culpas no cartório por não saber às vezes distiguir uma coisa da outra.. mas enfim, HÁ ALGUMAS EXCEPÇÕES a esta tendência em Portugal. E louvadas sejam as pessoas que conseguem por as coisas a andar mesmo com as dificuldades que encontram. ps: não subestimes os artistas que conheço sem sequer saberes com quem estás a falar... LOL.. seria para me tentar ofender? LOL
