Liquid Shape Qual o teu verdadeiro nome e idade? Bruno Delgado - 27 De onde vem o teu nome artístico ? Sou fã da simplicidade das coisas. Por isso uma vez comprei uma ampulheta que em vez da habitual areia tem uma forma liquida e viscosa que corre lentamente para o outro lado. Inspirei-me nele para escolher o meu actual nome artístico. Como iniciaste a tua carreira de Dj ? Desde 94 que tinha vontade de ser dj e fui durante todos esses anos um grande adepto de musica electrónica. Por outro lado fascinava-me a ideia de que o meu gosto musical pudesse despertar boas emoções nas pessoas através da alegria de dançar. Foi esse o grande motivo que me fez juntar uns trocos e comprar uns tecnics. Estávamos no ano de 1998. Define o teu estilo musical como Dj ? Considero-me bastante versátil e acho que essa é a grande arma de qualquer dj. Ter liberdade para tocar qualquer tema, desde que não perturbes a sequência emotiva do set. Equiparo a arte de mixar a um grande jogo de dominó, podes correr os estilos musicais que quiseres desde que consigas dar sequencia lógica à ultima faixa tocada. É claro que podes quebrar as regras do jogo sempre que te apetecer, mas digamos que eu sou muito adepto de sequencias harmoniosas, com um fio condutor... O que mais gostas de ouvir em casa? Telepomusik, Bent, Sigur Ros, Ulrich Shnauss, alguns temas new age, ou mesmo musica classica, musica com a qual me identifico bastante. Qual o disco que te marcou mais até hoje? Talvez "Urban Dreams - To Feel Alive" Foi um tema que arrepiou bastante a minha adolescência. O que é, na tua opinião, necessário para ser um bom DJ? Para mim o aspecto mais importante para um dj, mesmo acima da técnica, é que consiga dar um sentido ao set. Criar uma sequência que faça as pessoas sentirem um desenvolvimento musical "inteligente", entre aspas. Não limitar-se a pôr os hits do momento mas que consiga juntar um conjunto de faixas para fazer sobressair o set na sua totalidade. Dou bastante valor a isso. Antes de cada set, preparas-te de alguma forma? Limito-me a ficar atento à onda sonora dos últimos djs e tento dar alguma frescura em relação a isso. Qual o local preferido onde tocaste? Onde gostarias de tocar e ainda não o fizeste ? Chill Out: Infected Mushroom (Março 2003 - a famosa festa em que nevou) Foi um set muito especial, teve também a particularidade de nevar enquanto eu tocava. Sinergia 2006 - Decoração fantástica pela chilloutzone e um ambiente bastante contagiante. Goa Gil 2005 - Sequência muito bem conseguida e chill out sempre muito bem preenchido. Sinceramente já o vi pior...acho que há uma maior consciencialização nas pessoas. No entanto moscas há em todo o lado... O que dispensavas na dance scene portuguesa? Essa acusação é grave! No que te baseias para afirmar que eu dispensava cenas nas festas? ok, agora mais a sério...dispensava a irresponsabilidade em todos os layers de uma festa. Desde o consumidor irresponsável ao promotor da festa. Conta-nos um episódio curioso ou caricato que tenhas assistido ou que se tenha passado contigo. No fim do meu set de trance houve uma reacção bastante eufórica por parte do publico, eu fico no palco a arrumar os cd´s; os headphones preparo-me para ir embora, quando sou supreendido por uma rapariga bastante entusiasmada a implorar-me para lhe dar um autografo. Meio atrapalhado a tentar perceber se ela estava no gozo ou a sério, cedo ao pedido. Bem, como não havia nenhuma caneta, a rapariga apressa-se logo e vai procurar junto das amigas qualquer coisa com que consegua escrever. Fiquei pasmado quando ela me entrega na mão nada mais nada menos que um Rimmel (!!!! sim, o famoso acessório para as mulheres pintarem os olhos!!!). Esta foi ao nível das grandes estrelas! eheh

THE AGGROLITES (EUA) + HUMBLE + THE RATAZANAS A Xuxa Jurássica Produções tem o prazer e a honra de apadrinhar a estreia e o regresso a Portugal de dois grandes nomes do reggae e ska internacional. Influênciados por nomes como The Meters, James Brown e Wilson Pickett, entre outros, os norte-americanos The Aggrolites combinam old school reggae com rock, soul e funk numa mistura que dá pelo nome de dirty reggae. Constantemente solicitados como banda de apoio a nomes como Phyllis Dillon, Scotty, Joseph Hill dos Culture, Prince Buster e mais recentemente Tim Armstrong dos Rancid (com quem gravaram o seu álbum de estreia a solo), os californianos The Aggrolites vão marcar presença em Lisboa (local a anunciar) a 23 de Novembro para um concerto integrado na tournée europeia de promoção do seu recém lançado novo trabalho, "Reggae Hit L.A.".
