Survival: How To Help Tribal Peoples*

Ideas for how to help Survival could include the following:

-Volunteer in your local area

Distribute brochures: A simple but extremely effective way to get involved is to distribute Survival brochures and petitions to places where they are likely to be seen by people sympathetic to Survival's aims.

Volunteer in the office: Survival relies on the dedication of committed volunteers who contribute their time for free, and make so much of the urgent work possible. If you live in or near London, and can commit to helping out regularly in Survival's head office (which is in EC1), then don't hesitate to get in contact.

Fundraise: If you are interested in organising a sponsored event for Survival, we will provide a personalised sponsorship form, Survival logo t-shirts and lots of ideas about the event itself and how to raise pledges.

Recycle: Send old mobile phones, toner cartridges and foreign coins to Survival which can be recycled and generate funds.

Survival's exclusive catalogue: Buying Survival's stunning Christmas cards, t-shirts, diaries, calendars and jewellery is one of the easiest and most useful contributions you can make. Unusually for a charity, Survial publishes its own cards and so all of the income goes to our urgent work, not just a few percent.

Website: Visit www.survival-international.org. Read the latest news about tribal peoples, vote in our online poll, register your support, donate, send an e-card, browse recent press and a photo library.

Sign up to enews: To sign up for Survival's brief monthly enews please send an email to survival-on@mail-list.com from the email address where you would like to receive it. You can unsubscribe at any time.

-Take part in campaigns

Write a letter: Over the years writing letters has proved to be an excellent way of registering protest and really does achieve results.

Sign a petition: Sign a petition online, request petition sheets for your friends and family to sign or download a form to print out.
