The 4th compilation from Oxygen Records called Pulsar has been in the pipeline for a very long time. The reason for this is that we wanted to only include tracks that were of an exceptional quality in both production and style. At a time when sometimes it is difficult to distinguish artists and tracks we decided to go for something memorable. We wanted to release something timeless and we hope we have achieved this goal. We are building on our success with the Parsec compilation with the release of Pulsar. This time even more deep and less high. The tracks range from

full-on with progressive elements to a pumping "morning" sound. Always impressive and containing emotions that will please both the dancers and listeners among you… Artists from all over the world have found their way onto this compilation. With a juicy tracklist that includes names such as Freakulizer, M-Theory, Sound Field, Hydraglyph, Aphid Moon, Rumble Pack und Vielen Mehr… Enjoy!

Timecode is celebrating its fifth year of active releasing and twentieth release with a 2 part retrospective set featuring a host of our established artists. The concept was to take a few classics from past releases and put them in for a re-master, add a couple of new tracks from some of our more established artists, and finally throw in some remixes of seminal Timecode hits.

 

Volume I is the darker side featuring remixes of Artifakt’s classic Nosferatu (by Multistate), Shift’s huge No more humans (new version by Shift) and Menog’s epic Nilzomania (by Phyx). Then we added classics like Azax and Toxic’s Rain, Lemurians’ Echoes of Madness, Artifakt’s Instant Gratification, and Chromatone and Random’s Alien Hunterz. Finally to top things off we have some ripping new offerings from Phatmatix, Rabdom L and Twisted System.

 

Volume 2 in the Retrospective features the more grooved, musical, and uplifting side of Timecode’s psychedelic spectrum. We have some tasty new shakers from label owners Artifakt & Phyx, who contribute 5 Years and Mechanoid respectively. Tickets and Hydraglyph give the morning medicine to two Twisted System classics from their 2nd album with remixes of Daorithe and Business Hippy, and Damage’s Receive Transmit gets a 2007 update from Broken Toy. Then everything gets tied together with re-masters from our back catalogue including Wizzy Noise’s Light of Madness, Damage’s Wizzkid, Shift & Slug’s Apocalypse Cow, CPU’s Keep The Timecode and finally Tickets epic musical monster The Toy.

Xerox (Moshe keinan) & Illumination (Amir Dvir) aka XI unleash the beast! These veteran producers take a huge part in shaping the psychedelic trance scene, especially Xerox, with this being his 7th album since he was signed to be HOMmega's first artist in 1997 and nothing feels more fit then releasing this monumental album on the year that HOMmega marks a decade of trance music. Xerox & Illumination's joint venture albums - "Temporary insanity" (2004) and "XI" (2005) delivered psychedelic trance fused with metallic sounds and highly influenced from the techno & breakbeat genres. With their 3rd collaboration album, they maintain that extra dose of action packed epic music but as due in modern times, it is induced with a touch of electro music and cross over appeal. The raw power of tracks like "The beast within", "Creature of the night" and "Red handed" (remix for Domestic & X-noiZe) is a blasting surge of energy. The patient pace of "Virtual violence", "No way out" and "Last stop" gives credit to the act's ability to control the dance floor without hyperventilating. The anthemic nature of "Turbulence" and "Bass safari" is rich with build ups to a satisfying climax and the smoothness of "Split head" is a unique blend of psychedelic electro groove.
