Samples Biography of Taliesin: Born on the 10th November 1964 in Lienz, Eastern Tyrol, Austria. Music has been with Talisien from his early childhood. Various kinds of instruments and rhythms have always been accompanying his life – from Folk, Reggae and Jazz to Rock and Contemporary Electronics. In 1988 he founded the Underground Rock band ‘A Wedding Anniversary’ together with Markus Testory and Christoph Aschauer . Their first album (‘A Wedding Anniversary) was released in 1989 on the then very prominent Independent Label ‘Dancetaria Rec.’ in Lille/France. Immediate success followed in Underground Pop Charts all over Europe (record of the week in ‘Le Figaro’, 4 weeks on the top in Switzerland on the Radio Station ‘Colour 3’, many weeks in the top 15 in France...). The Maxi Single ‘Asylum’ was also released in ’89 and in 1993 the second Album ‘The age of flies’ hit the market. Following the split of the Band in 1993 he retreated for the first time from the commercial music market. After a while he discovered the world of Analogue/Digital Music and he has been enthralled by it ever since. He studied the programming on numerous music computers, Synthesizers and so forth intensively. Since 1999 he has been known all over as ‘Taliesin’ the composer, producer and spellbinding live performer. (The first Psytrance Liveact in Austria, playing fully Analogue until 2006) He has been a much loved performer at many major European festivals ever since Phoenix Firedancer In 2000 Talisien hooked up with Marc Brouard and Leon Martin. The resulting deep friendship resulted in the coproduction of the audiovisual show ‘Spirit Fire’. 2003 – 2005 production and release of the soundtrack: ‘Talisien – Spirit Fire’ 2009 – 2010 production of the new soundtrack for the show concept ‘Geomatrix’ Supermax 2006 – 2009 he was a member of the Supermax touring band, performing in Austria, Montenegro, Latvia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan, Sardinia, Sri Lanka,… 2006 Talisien receives the Peace Medal at the Kremlin in Moscow Trance music releases and productions Various remixes For Supermax, Chamber, Moonbootica, 2 Raum Wohnung… 2009 – 2010 production of the latest Album ‘Three Times Three’ Facebook Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
