Músicos de 1ª categoria, todos eles (o baterista Gavin Harrison deslumbra!!)..e num espaço como o TSB é que nem mel :) se puderes não deixes escapar! freeK Posted June 30, 2009 Author Share Posted June 30, 2009 The new album - "The Incident" Porcupine Tree are happy to announce the forthcoming release of their tenth studio album "The Incident". The record is set to be released via Roadrunner Records worldwide on 21st September, as a double CD. The centre-piece is the title track, which takes up the whole of the first disc. The 55-minute work is described as “a slightly surreal song cycle about beginnings and endings and the sense that ‘after this, things will never be the same again’.” The self-produced album is completed by four standalone compositions that developed out of band writing sessions last December - Flicker, Bonnie The Cat, Black Dahlia, and Remember Me Lover feature on a separate EP length disc to stress their independence from the song cycle. Video footage of the band in the studio working on The Incident, as well as audio previews, will be available online soon. freeK Posted September 17, 2009 Author Share Posted September 17, 2009 e já cá canta. após 2 audições apetece dizer que é o seu melhor trabalho até agora.é muito subjectivo e prematuro afirmar-lo mas foi a ideia com que fiquei. ainda mais refinado a nível de produção (som 100% cristalino como é timbre de PT) e composição, poliritmos para todos os gostos, afasta-se cada vez mais do rótulo Pink Floyd e caminha ainda mais na direcção dum rock / metal progressivo de topo, na linha de Fear of a Blank Planet. ambientes electrónicos mais interventivos & uma secção rítmica com tanto de groove como de uma pujança incríveis destacam-se logo na 1ª audição Tenho de ouvir com muita calma e sem distracções todo o disco 1 de rajada,para tentar seguir a lógica da estória que é contada, estou ansioso.
