Crop Circles - The Singles It is with enormous pleasure that DAT Records is proud to announce the re-release of the mythical singles of the Crop Circles, the side project of two famous bands: Etnica and Lotus Omega. Etnica started producing music in 1994, planting the seeds of the Goa Trance scene being among the first producers to create a unique psychedelic sound. Lotus Omega started producing music as a duo in 1995 but both members of the band were already producing before that, and throughout the 90s they toured around the world, releasing 3 albums, one in collaboration with GMS. During the summer of 1996, Etnica and Lotus Omega joined forces and studios to create some mind-blowing sci-fi psychedelic anthems that were released in 1997 for the first time on Auracle Recordings but which are now long sold out and hard to come by. The eternal music of Crop Circles has to be preserved - hence the need to re-release those wonderful rare singles. All the tracks have been transferred from the original master DATs of the band and given a fresh new mastering by Tim Schuldt. Four of these tracks are appearing for the very first time on CD. All the tracks contained in these singles are legendary and need no introduction; Cosmic Creative Rays was a side project of Lotus Omegas, featuring Thomas, a psychedelic track that was included due to a mislabelled DAT but that feels like a genuine Crop Circles track.
