Release description:
The fourth in succession album by Sergey Nazarenko also known as Enichkin,
a well known psychedelic sound engineer from Russia, is called “Krakoziabry”.
Krakoziabry is/are often caused when Layered Intelligence Forming Energy
is moved to a system with a different default encoding.
Different encoding is a fundamental trick,
which is used to confuse the fact that we are ONE.
This album is an amalgam of very specific complex patterns
of tribal elements and cutting edge sound design / wave engineering,
produced with the purpose of evoking the chain reaction in consciousness
that evolves subjectively while having what we call a "Trance Dance Experience".
Through this all-encompassing experience of the Oneness of Life,
hopefully people will become more sensitive and aware of themselves,
their surroundings, the crossroads of humanity and the needs of the planet.
Enjoy this ride into the depths of your subconsciousness,
and become ONE with The Universe and The Spirit of Nature.

For those who don't know him yet, Drumatik is Benjamin Klingemann. The 29 old german/american producer
is one of switzerland well respected dj's and producers for more than ten years now playing for the labels
"peak records" and "mind expansion".
After three years of cooking and experimenting in his studio to take his sound to the next level,
traveling and performing as a dj and live act across europe,
he's finally ready to unleash nine new dance floor tunes brought up as a full story to hit the floors!

The indoor season is in progress
Welcome to the indoor season. Since the approaching next half year it will be become darker, in this edition we will have a look mainly at bright deco pulsating in the beat. VJs do bring the optical kick on the dancefloor and create multimedia experiences out of parties. We were talking about this exciting topic with Psynema and Dr. Spook, without doubt two of the most prominent exponents of the VJ guild within our scene. Our VJ special will be topped off through a workshop, where I will show, how you can prepare your very own VJ performance in no time. And that`s for free! Finally, taking part in our mushroom VJ lottery you might win prizes worth altogether 3000 Euros. Furthermore we have a rebiew of the summer 2009 with the results of our readers survey.

Stereographic:
Stereographic is the project of André Santana Camargos, born on the 21st of June 1980. André has started his musical career at the very young age of 9 years, when he started studying the piano. At the age of 15 he started studying classical guitar on the side and a bit later continued with the electric guitar and bass guitar, mostly playing it in jam sessions with his friends when they used to make punk rock and heavy metal. In 2001 the psytrance virus caught André’s full attention which was also the same time he started to produce his first tracks, there was no time to be wasted.
Over the next couple of years his project took more and more shape and by 2004 he developed a strong personal identity which could be felt strongly throughout his tracks. Stereographic was one of the very first Brazilian psytrance acts to ever start producing and releasing music, with quite an impressive list of releases on various labels worldwide so far. His music ranges from deep, fat & slightly melodic morning & twilight sounds to his more powerful technoid night time tuneage. Quality wise, his productions stand out strongly from the masses; all of them are produced with manic skull-crushing kicks layered on top of massive thundering bass lines and true tales of psychedelica.
So far André had the pleasure to play on all the major festivals of Brazil, as well as on many outside his beloved country. Places such as Russia, Germany, Hungary, Bolivia and the U.K. are all on his playlist of the last few years or the following months to come and there’s more countries being added to this list very soon. We at Mind Funk are truly proud to have this new supernova aboard of our galactic spaceship and we’re sure you’ll this stark raving mad man will hit you like a thunderstorm!

Smoke Ship:
Smoke Ship is a brand new project produced by Fernando Brigatto, also hailing from the magic lands of Brazil. Fernando was born on the3rd of May 1980. This fresh new project has been initiated during 2008, with the aim to bring some change to the monoculture of full-on/morning and progressive/electro artists in Brazil. The aim of the Smoke Ship project is to deliver something else, not the usual mainstream well known sound, but truly psychedelic music in the real true meaning of the word. High-quality music that manages to stand out from the masses, made with the purpose of making people dance in a fanatic frenzy all night long, all united in a deep induced state of trance.
Next to his live-project, Fernando has also been a psytrance DJ since the year 2003, as well as having started to organize parties in the area of Mina Gerais in Brazil. “Lexvib Productions” was the name of his 1st crew and nowadays he’s still organizing parties with his friends from back then, all working together on mutual projects in the area of Mina Gerais, known for its magic natural surroundings and kicking parties. The Samsara Festival is their major project nowadays, held annually in the city of Uberlandia, hosted by Fernando and his crew many artists from all over the world have performed on the Samsara Stage. Once more we at Mind Funk Music are happy and proud to have this new talented artist on board of our music team. Together with his fellow countryman André Santana Camargos, a.k.a. “With this album, I wanted to focus on the essence of melody and expose it in a raw form through the electronic medium. The source of the main melodies came from repetitive hooks I found myself sporadically singing or humming during day to day business. Think of the joyful tunes whistled during a walk. These melodic mantras seem to pop up out of nowhere and go on repeating forever. When I'd notice this, I'd hang onto the melody until I could get to the studio and bang it out, no matter how obvious or straightforward it was. Once the main melodies and inflections were out, I could carefully construct an audio bedding for them and see where it led. From a larger perspective, I felt that the search for these melodies was similar to unearthing subconscious archetypes that drive reality. The process was like discovering an ever-flowing undercurrent of reality that can be translated directly into melody. In this case, it felt that the source of them all must absolutely be love.” – KiloWatts

Welcome to our summer newsletter, full packed with lots of info for the festival season including updated summer festival map, the winners of the mushroom Trance Producer Contest and new music releases which we published inside the June / July mushroom.
In fact we are celebrating the 15th mushroom birthday with this issue. Who would have thought that our beloved Goa yellow press would pass quite some crisis and reach this remarkable age back in 1994, when it all began? Starting with only four pages, hand-copied and with a distribution in the area of North Germany we became an international Trance magazine. We accompanied the scene during its golden age in the late nineties but also experienced the times of massive music piracy and therefore the decline of the label landscape. We danced free our selves from social forces and discussed the sense of life at remote places. We saw several generations of Trancers coming, each one with another attitude. We witnessed evolution and innovation. I hope you also gathered so much precious experiences with our scene during the past years and found your own way of Trance.
In this issue we want to recommend you many great parties where you can celebrate our mushroom anniversary and also the 20th birthday of the global Trance community. So we decided to make this June / July issue a Festival Special.

Artist Bio:
A classically trained pianist and master of the art of software production. Bluetech's love of the melodic and exquisite sense of sound design makes him one of the most ingenius producers today.
Bluetech's sound emerges from his custom-built Reaktor instruments and software based synthesisers as a primordial electro-dub alchemy. While encompassing musical touches from different parts of the globe, he presents a total blend, crossing genres and borders.
Bluetech has created a label called Native State Records to release his own music and music from other artists who cross boundaries between ambient/chill and more idm/experimental sounds.
Not content to stay at home, Bluetech has toured extensively and performed in Japan, UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Croatia, France, Denmark, Mexico, United States, and Canada.
Bluetech has released three albums on Aleph Zero Records, an internationally acclaimed chill label run by recording artist Shulman. Aleph Zero brought Bluetech's music to the attention of the international chill audience, and helped to launch his career worldwide through strong support and beautiful packaging.

...there is in all things an ebb and a flow, a constriction of energy into condensed from, an expansion of solidity into the ethereal and mutable. My life has recently taken this path of change, reflecting the timeless wisdom of the organic.
The plants have begun speaking to me, the earth has begun speaking to me, the particular flight pattern of a pair of birds a potent divination, the liquid oscillation of waves crashing upon the shore a wisdom tradition. Everything around us is alive, vibrant, and resonating at a audible frequency if we only stop and listen. I am listening now, and everything in my life has changed. My identity as „Bluetech“ holds no validity here, and all of those previous associations ar dissolving: artist, performer, traveller, hipster recording artist, label owner. All of these beliefs about who i am are my ego’s attempt at transcendence above unity with the natural world. I don’t want to be „Bluetech“ anymore.
I want to be a tree singer, one who sings songs in the key of sap rising up the fractaline trunk of ancient elders
I want to be a plant whisperer, letting my quiet breaths massage seedlings into glorious germination
I want to be a dreamer, dreaming the Big Dream of earth an sky
I want to be a force of power in my generation, a call from the living world to wake up to our true place as earth keepers
I want to heed the summons of Spirit to abandon the tyranny of a mechanistic universe and emrace the gnosis of all living things
I want to reflect the power of sun in worship of life, as does each and every flower that unfolds to share ist beauty
I want to be a wild man in a civilized world, shaking my wooden staff im the face of every life destroying corporate entity
I want to be a pure vessel, a living avator of pregnant silences, an earth mystic always dancing to the songs of stones
I have heard a call from outside of time, first in dreams, then singing in every sound, color, and light of the natural world. It speaks to me of renewal, of union with the divine inherent in all things, of a return to the source of life, of all the mother’s lost children come home to be fed sweet nectar of rememberance of our place in the created world, of our roles as gardeners of myth, and keepers of the flame of consciousness for a profound purpose , not only for our own selfishness, but to keep the oldest story alive.
This music is offered as a gift. I can’t play the music industry game anymore, begging people to buy my music so i can pay my rent, travelling way past my point of exhaustion in order to put a few mor dollars in the bank account and cross my fingerst that it will drive album sales. My reason for creating music is to get the message out: we are what we have been waiting for, heaven is not waiting for us at the end, the kingdom is „at hand“, we either create a beautiful world or we create a hell. Compiled by Scorb, aka Yod Onsen, Abra Macabre is an effervescing cauldron of warped out psychedelic electronica; combining established artists and exciting new collaborations. Marking Trick Music's second release, it follows 2007's hugely successful Ipso Fvcto, driving Trick's distinctive sound forwards for 2009.

Moving away from the more cinematic Scorb sound, this ones a builder that sucks you in before developing into a nitrous fueled anthem! This will doubtless find it's way into many an outdoor set this festival season!
03. PRISM – SIX PAPER JOINTS
A huge morning epic with an infectious sample that will stick in your head, trash your brain and refuse to leave! Originally intended for the Prism album “Freedom 35” we've had so many requests for this one we were compelled to release it here instead.
04. SQUID INC - FIN
If you like it deep, fat and moody, then we know your gonna dig this. Superb work from the exclusive collaboration between Scorb and the Deviant one, giving you a glimpse of the future according to Squid inc! You want more? Sure you do, watch this space.
05. PHIBIAN – LO-PHI
The evolutionary process is in full flow and we're definitely liking it! Lo-Phi is a gem of a track that has been smashing the place up in true style. With its dark yet accessible vibe, this track will be called upon time and again to deliver what the dancefloor needs.
06. PRISM vs PHIBIAN – THE PROBE
The use of alliteration is a fine example of the diligence of these guys. A sly collaboration that traces the line between deep TechTrance and breakneck dancefloor driven Psy.
07. THE HOAX - FABRICATION
Is he a man or is he a woman? We don't know! But we do know that this epitomises the Trick sound, weaving intricate fx and themes over a dark and chunky low end that progresses smoothly from start to finish.
08. RAM – ILLUMINATION
RAM need little introduction. Their 2 albums on Nexus Media and Last Possible Solution have been a staple for many DJs and a massive influence on producers the world over. RAM rock out another exclusive dancefloor stonker with all their trademark technopunk lunacy in full effect!
09. ORZELS MACHINE – DESTRUKT (SCORB REMIX)
This is Scorb doing the business in fine style with a truly unique take on the dark and minimal original Orzels' version. Groundbreaking stuff that is intricately musical, slammingly wonky and with an enormously large finish. Can your rig handle it?
