This day traditionally celebrates the birthday of the Queen and it takes place every year on the 30th of April, with parties happening everywhere around the country. Amsterdam becomes then a series of open air parties with all styles of music represented. Psychedelic Trance has also been having its spot in the middle of the celebrations and Bom Voyage is now giving it's 13th edition of the Bom Voyage Queensday party! This party has become a legend in itself, when everyone returns to the city to be a part of it and enjoy the one day when all turn back to the source and the same energy from the start of Psytrance can be felt and experienced again. This drive to return to the roots and bring back the original Psytrance community and spirit together, is what makes Bom Voyage a truly unique event! Many established artists have played here, like ACE VENTURA, DICK TREVOR, Dj DOC, D-NOX, JOHN PHANTASM, LOOPUS IN FABULA, MEKKANIKKA, TRISTAN, XP, ZEN MECHANICS and many more. The Bom Voyage Queensday party is, as always, supported by a MAGIC HAT that gets taken around during the day, helping cover the costs so that this event can happen every year. This year, keeping the tradition and turning our attention once more to good old school Psychedelic Trance, we will see the participation of GUS TILL, a legend in the flesh as one of the pioneers of Psytrance! GUS TILL is known as well for his projects SLINKY WIZARD, BUS and also on the more chilled side, ZEN LEMONADE. His music still holds the magic that brought this scene together and is undoubtedly one of the best of its kind. Joining us also this year is BETTY, who does not require any introductions in Amsterdam! She plays Progressive Psytrance and used to be a local, having built a faithful following during the years that she lived here! Another local talent, OZMALI will be presenting us with his live set in deep Forest Psytrance style. Ozmali also makes amazing decoration and runs his own label, Ozmali Records. And warming the energy during the day will be HAISU, who plays a variety of Progressive Psytrance in the Zenonesque style, that is deep and psychedelic! Finally, BOM VOYAGE will present us at the end of the day with their traditional set, closing the festivities with some of their favorite tracks in the history of Psytrance.
